This sweet child started with laughter, thanks to his 3 year old brother, Ethan. I’ll protect that story from mass publishing and Ethan’s future embarrassment but believe me when I say, it’s a great story! Something must have stuck because Carter is the funniest little person I have ever met. We absolutely adore him and the little man he is becoming. If only that process would SLOW down!
I asked him what kind of cake he wanted… his response was, “A princess cake, because I want the girls in my class to like it. The boys chase me on the playground.” His preschool teachers call him Casanova Carter. This was confirmed when the RSVPs started coming back and I was told by many mothers that their daughters love Carter and are convinced they’re going to marry him. Oh boy.
So we had a Tangled party. Flynn Rider cake for Carter and princess cupcakes for the girls! I have such a great respect for event planners anyway but this just brought that level of admiration to a whole new level. However, I think we successfully kept about 15 kiddos and their parents entertained for a full hour and a half! Trust me, this is quite a feat.
Dear precious child, I’m so thrilled God picked us to be your parents!

Jay (my husband) embraced his role as Cub Scout Master and ran the games. Pretty sure he loved every second!

Making wishes -- it took a few minutes.
