Back in October, I had the pleasure of photographing Neil and Eileen’s wedding at Notre Dame University! Loved everything about them, their family, crazy friends, and the most insanely gorgeous cathedral. Will definitely post more photos in the future (along with several other weddings that merely got a quick mention while in the middle of peak wedding season) as the next few months are traditionally quieter for us.

For this post, I’d like to focus on a new black and white conversion tool that has actually been around for a while. I’m absolutely loving the way it takes the digital feel out of black and white images, and kicks back to the texture of black and white film. I desperately want to do an all black and white bridal album. Any takers? :)

On one of the very last fall days of the season, I had the privilege of photographing Paul and Hillary’s engagement photos in Ann Arbor! After having to reschedule several times due to bad weather, we finally found a day that ended up being perfect. It was one of those soft light days that photographers crave, especially considering the vintage and romantic feel they wanted for their photos. I had a wonderful time getting to know them and simply cannot wait to photograph the wedding next year!!
